From Nectar to Pineapple

A Journey Rooted in Truth, Kindness & Beauty

The name NICTAR comes from the word “Nectar.” Our journey began with beekeeping. In the early days of our business, bees guided us on a journey of connecting with nature. Although NICTAR no longer works directly with bees today, the spirit of the bees — Truth, Kindness, and Beauty — has become deeply rooted in our corporate culture and is transformed into the products and services we deliver to the public.

Nictar’s core business revolves around pineapples. From seedling cultivation, planting, and processing to sales, we insist on maintaining full control of the entire process. Therefore, every product bearing the Nictar label carries our commitment to quality. To help the public better understand pineapples, we have even established a visitor-friendly theme park where visitors can experience pineapples with all five senses and rediscover them.

In Malaysia, pineapples used to be a fruit that people commonly planted around their homes. However, as society has transformed, this once easily accessible fruit has gradually become more distant from everyone.

While we cannot stop the wheels of social change, Nictar tries to bring the familiar taste of pineapple back to your table in new forms. This has been Nictar’s mission for more than a decade.

We select premium pineapples and do our best to produce pure pineapple juice and related pineapple products without additives, preserving the most authentic flavor.

Nictar insists on using only fresh fruits naturally ripened under the sun, although some of these pineapples may have minor imperfections or shapes that do not meet market standards. Through careful selection and processing, Nictar provides an additional sales channel for toiling farmers, helping reduce waste and addressing the global food supply challenge.

Nictar breaks away from traditional conservative packaging by creating bright and elegant designs while presenting the product’s essence transparently. Most packaging materials are recyclable, and we avoid excessive packaging, redefining beauty through substance.
